It wasn't an easy task with a twisting and turning course and 43 horse and rider combinations from 12 different nations entered in the class.
Just three of those horse and rider combinations finished with no faults in their two rounds at the World Equestrian Centre in Florida.
Willis rode two of them.
American Aaron Vale and Major finished with the fastest time in the jump-off, earning them the win but then Willis and Blue Movie managed the second fastest time as well as a clear round.
The former The Armidale School student also rode Wellington Grey Goose to a clear round in the jump off as well to earn third spot.
