State and territory health ministers will on Thursday hold an urgent meeting to consider the next steps in the COVID-19 vaccine rollout based on the advice from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
Until now, the AstraZeneca shot was only to be given to people aged 50 and above, but last week a 52-year-old woman died after developing blood clots associated with the vaccine.
