North Armidale are the team watch, leading the competition with only two goals scored against them. They are two points ahead of Armidale City Westside who are on thirteen points.
East Armidale (0) Demon Knights (0)
East Armidale and Demon Knights repeated their round one result. Neither team could break the deadlock and score a winning goal. From all accounts it good game to watch on a perfect day for player and spectator. The large crowd at Doody Park enjoyed a great day of football.
North Armidale (4) South Armidale (0)
North Armidale's experience shone with Emma Briggs and Kate McKay scoring to give the red ladies a comfortable the two goals to nil half time lead. Elisa Drozdowski and Kate Haily Cameron scored in the second half to give them the four goal to nil win.
Armidale City Westside had the BYE.
Open Division 1
South Armidale just edges out North Armidale at the top of the ladder on goal difference. With the next three teams on the same points still three behind these leaders. Two of the three top goal scorers added to their tally over the weekend. Who are the three with eight goals scored?
Demon Knights (3) East Armidale (2)
Demon Knights are proving to be a much better team than their seasons start against East Armidale. In a five-goal thriller both teams created good goal scoring opportunities keeping the large crowd on the edge of their seats. The half time score was one all with Demon Knights Shane McCann starting the goal scoring off after ten minutes of play. Easts countered five minutes later through Basim Khudhers first goal of the day. The deadlock was broken when Narran Singh took the opportunity of space outside the box to drive the ball home (pick the photo of the sot) early in the second half. Aaron scored his second with twenty minutes to go while Basim also scored his second. The one goal difference in the end was a good reflection of a fast crowd pleaser.
North Armidale (4) TAS (0)
North Armidale peppered the TAS goal relentlessly in the first half, scoring all their four goals. Cooper Heagney scored two and Jake McCann and Anwar Kasim scored one each. The second half was even with neither team hitting the back of the net.
South Armidale (6) Inverell (1)
Josh Frost is on fire scoring another hattrick (hopefully). The score was three nil at half time through goals to Heath Milne, Josh Frost and Vichit Tha. The second half saw Josh score another two and Tom Davies get the Scorpions sixth goal. Inverell's Riley Schultz scored Inverell's goal. Inverell even though are not getting close on the scoreboard to the leading teams demonstrate the ability to control the ball and challenge the oppositions defense. Just lacking the ability to sustain pressure and repel it throughout the game.

East Armidale (5) Demon Knights (2)
Three two at half time to the Suburbs through a goal to Ather Ahmad and two to Wezz Styles for the Suburbs and a goal to Reece Cropper and an own goal to Demon Knights. The secomd half went to the Suburbs through Wezz's third goal and Ather's second for the five goals to two win. The autopick saw it with its five goals to two win to the Suburbs
Guyra (2) North Armidale (0)
The half time score of nil all left both teams a bit flat. Guyra's Hudson Felani scoring two goals in the second half separated the teams. The autopick had the correct goal difference.
South Armidale (8) Inverell (0)
The Scorpions were far too strong for the Inverell contingent, up by three at half time with goals to Drew Kingston, Zeke Morhaus and Tristan Rochester. Tom Davies scored a double in the second half along with a goal to Kaleb Morhaus and two more to Zeke Morhaus.

Glen Innes (8) Guyra (2)
Glen Innes were hot and had a big lead early in this game. A team effort with the finishers Braiden Crawford and Connor Duddy picking up four goals each. Not sure what were the inputs into this big difference with my pre game reflection of poor defense or great attacking still unanswered, still keen on the opinion of members of both teams.
South Armidale (2) Armidale City Westside FC Blue (0)
Well it turned out that the Scorpions were too strong for the Blues. Michael Lord must be high on the goal scorers list scoring the first half goal for the Scorpions, with Alex Morris scoring his goal ion the second half.
East Armidale (5) TAS (2)
The autopick got this one right but the pundits would have been shaking at half time with TAS Infront by two goals to one. Oliver Griffiths and Charlie Carter scoring for TAS and Shaun Callies for the Suburbs. The second half difference was Any Boyles hattrick and Shaun's second goal.

Close results are predicted in this division again this week. Also, with three team close at the top of the ladder make all games critical.
Guyra (2) Armidale City Westside (0)
The autopick had the goal difference right and I was off the mark. Guyra had the most of the first half with goals to Steven McElroy and Robert Sisson. Neither team could make anything of their chances in the second half leaving the game two goals to nil win to Guyra.
North Redmen (4) East Armidale (2)
The Redmen led by three goals to one at half time. Lachlan William, Steve Davies and Ethan Hocking scoring for the Redmen and D Khuder for the Suburbs, The second half went to the Suburbs through goals to A Abas and another to D Khuder. Ethan Hocking scored the Redlmen's second half goal.
South Armidale (15) Demon Knights (0)
Disappointing result for the league and from where I sit both teams. The team sheet looks as though Demon Knights did not turn up, player numbers and on the park. The seven-goal hoist in the first half came from goals to Michael Lord, Andrew Edwards, John Schmude and four of Ryan walkers five goals. The second half scorers were Joe Campbell, Craig Wright, Michael Lord, Ryan Walker, John Schmude, Kyan Htun, Chris Pietese and Tom Whitley.
