A teenager will face court in July, charged over a bushfire which destroyed around 533 hectares of the Nundle State Forest, in October 2019.

The fire was reported to police, and officers from Oxley Police District commenced an investigation.
Police will allege that during the investigation officers were alerted to the theft of 200 litres of diesel fuel from a logging excavator in the Nundle State Forest, between October 26 and 27, 2019.
Following extensive inquiries, investigators arrested a 19-year-old man at a home in Bridgman, near Singleton, on Tuesday afternoon.

The teenager was taken to Singleton Police Station where he was charged with intentionally cause fire and be reckless as to its spread, and larceny.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at a children's court on July 13.
