Asylum seekers fear rushed refugee process

Advocates say asylum seekers have been given two weeks' notice for their refugee status interviews.

More than 1000 asylum seekers living in Australia for years have suddenly been invited to government interviews to determine their refugee claims, leading to fears they'll be disadvantaged by a rushed process.
