Looking forward and excited about seeing the women's game get the same acknowledgement as the men's with their final series scheduled on the same day and at the same venue as the men's. Still very keen to see much greater ownership of the administration of the women's platform by the women.
Our inaugural women's games were officiated female referees. The Doody Park game saw one of our up and coming very young female referees control the middle. East Armidale and Demon Knights played a nil all draw at Doody Park and an exciting fast game for the first game of their season.
Armidale City Westside were on fire in their first game together defeating South Armidale by six goals to nil. Half time saw Armidale City Westside up by three, with Emily Gray scoring two and Kelly Moran scoring her first goal. The second half saw Annika Obrien Maddison Moran score and Kelly Moran score her second goal for the day.
Open Division 1
East Armidale (1) North Armidale (1)
Baism Khudher scored in the first half for East Armidale and Jake McCann scored for Norths midway through the second half.
Armidale City Westside (1) South Armidale (1)
Armidale City Westside and South Armidale also had a one all draw.
The score was in favour of Armidale City Westside at half time through an own goal. Jamie Wright scored for South Armidale in the second half.
Demon Knights (2) Inverell (1)
Sam Constance and Nashat Jarallah scored for Demon Knights in the first half while R Schultz scored for Inverell.
Open Division 2
North Armidale (2) East Armidale (1)
In an even game the first half was one nil to Norths from an own goal. The second half saw gaoals scored by Daniel Stanley for the Redmen and by Matt Urquart for the Suburbs.
Armidale City Westside (0) South Armidale (0)
Neither side could make the most of the opportunities that they created with the end result a nil all draw.
Demon Knights (3) Inverell (0)
Demon Knights lead at half time through a gaol to Emud Qerany, followed by goals to Felix Pastor-Kellett and Brad Galllayher in the second half.

Armidale City Westside were on fire in their first game together defeating South Armidale by six goals to nil. Half time saw Armidale City Westside up by three, with Emily Gray scoring two and Kelly Moran scoring her first goal. The second half saw Annika Obrien Maddison Moran score and Kelly Moran score her second goal for the day.
Open Division 3
TAS defeated Demon Knights by eleven goals to nil. TAS lead by seven at half time with Marcus Kempel scoring four, Oliver Griffiths and Oliver Morse scoring goals. The second half saw Isiah Ruming scoring two and Charlie Carter and Harrison Miller one each.
North Armidale defeated East Armidale 4 by three goals to one. The score was nil all at half time Ethan Hocking was unleashed in the second half scoring two for the Redmen along with one from Adam Bourke. Kaso Elias scored the Suburbs goal.
Armidale City Westside defeated Glen Innes by four goals to two. Nathan Bui scored a hattrick in the first half for Armidale City Westside and Luke Mepham scored for Glen Innes. The second half was even with Michael Barrett scoring for Armidale City Westside and Connor Buddy for the Highlanders.
Armidale City Westside defeated East Armidale in a close one. Two own gaols against the suburbs in the first half along with a goal to Chris Kavanagh saw the Su.burbs down by a goal at half time. J King score for Armidale City Westside and Andy Boyle for East Armidale in the second half
Over 35s
In a high scoring game Armidale City Westside and South Armidale had a five all draw. South Armidale lead by three goals to one at half time. With Bilshad Ibrahim scoring two and Craig Wright his first of the day for the Scorpions and Sam Townsend scored for Armidale City Westside. Andrew Edwards and Craig Wright scored for the Scorpions in the second half. Sam Townsend scored his second for Armidale City Westside along with Nathan Howe, David Green and Brock Townsend.
Guyra, the very social guys put it together again with four goal to one win over East Armidale. Being two, one up at half time through goal scorers Stephen MvElroy and Adam Litherland, while Haitham scored the Suburbs goal. Brett Little stood out in the second half with his two goals.
