Young riders ducked, weaved and sped their way around Walcha Showground at the weekend for Pony Club NSW's annual sporting and campdrafting championships.

Competitors from all over the state made their way to the event hosted by Zone 13's Walcha Pony Club.
Zone 13, which stretches from Walcha through to Tenterfield and across to Inverell, had 39 competitors take on the sporting and 18 in the campdrafting championships and were among the pointscores in both events.
Inverell's Mackenzie Lyons was reserve champion in the under 13s in the sporting and then backed it up with champion in the campdraft on Sunday.
Emmaville's Madison Ellis was reserve champion in the 11 and under 13 years sporting.
Armidale's Michael Paull was reserve in the 17 and under 26 years.
Emmaville Pony Club's Brooke Klingner was the 15 and under 17 years state champion in the sporting.
The Zone 13 quartet of Emmaville's Brooke Klingner, Jasmine Klingner and Madison Ellis along with Armidale's Jessica Emery were also crowned the winning team for the weekend.
Zone 13 Chief Instructor Belinda Williamson was rapt with the results, and the weekend as a whole.
"The host club, Walcha, did a great job running the event," she said.
"The grounds were superb, the events ran smoothly and efficiently and the canteen, as usual, had great food and kept everyone fed.
"Our Zone competed very well with our talented young pony club riders who work their way up from starting as new pony clubbers to being of State Championships level.
"Zone 13 were the overall winners of the Sporting Championships, excellent result from our riders and always brilliant to win big on your home turf.
"Our riders as always presented beautifully and rode with great sportsmanship and skill."
Zone 5 also picked up the trophy for best presented at vet checks.
The campdrafting championships were held on Sunday.
