Fast forward to 2021 and a handful of those teenagers have helped the club lift the first grade trophy for the recent season.
Back in 2019 the group of youngsters were relatively unknown among the senior ranks - even their current first grade teammates weren't aware of the talent hidden in their lower grades.
But their form since that 2019 triumph has made everyone sit up and take notice.

Simpson top-scored with 38 and Litchfield made 30 as the top two run-scorers as Hillgrove made 8-139.
Sam Johnson, along with Dave Schmude, was the next highest scorer with 14 making three of the side's top four scorers teenagers.
When it came to defending their total, it was again the young guns who claimed the scalps.
Litchfield finished with 5-5 from nine overs, snaring the majority of City's top order while Biddle finished off the rest with 4-23 from 6.2 overs.
