A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.

The 18-year-old was injured when his car crashed off the New England Highway at Guyra, just before 1.30pm.
Police and and two ambulance crews were deployed to the crash scene, near Urandangi Road, and found the male occupant in the wreckage.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics for a shoulder injury, and then transported to Guyra hospital. He was believed to be in a stable condition.

The crash saw traffic on the highway impacted in both directions for several hours, with stop/slow traffic controls put in place.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
Meanwhile, motorists were continuing to be diverted on Tuesday after flooding shut the Waterfall Way.
The road was closed between Short Cut Road at Raleigh, and Maynards Plains Road at Dorrigo Mountain.
Motorists to and from Armidale were being diverted via the Gwydir Highway or the Oxley Highway, which added delays to the trip.
