Guyra shook off their dismal round five performance against City to land their first win of the season.
After a woeful 48 against City the week before, Guyra's batting order stood tall, led by youngster Joey Ryan with 61.
Batting first against Ex-Services, Guyra didn't lose their first wicket until they'd reached more than half of their previous round's total; Heath Dowsett falling for 11 off Sreejan Tarafder's bowling.
They reached 45 before Grant Ryan was caught off Dan Hogan's bowling but things looked grim when returning skipper Charlie White was caught on a duck off his opposing skipper's, John Elliot, bowling.
Ben Jackson settled the innings alongside Matt Finlay, who had previously retired until called upon for this match.
Finlay made 12 before Hogan claimed his scalp leg-before-wicket.
Jackson and Joey Ryan got their side past the 100 run-mark before 40 before Hogan nabbed Jackson's wicket as well.
The evergreen Mitch Woods contributed 18 before he was caught when Nick Levy stepped up to bowl.
Then Ryan and Matt Simpson put on the innings' best partnership of 86.
Simpson whacked 39 runs before he was caught off Levy.
Ryan was the final wicket to fall, finishing on 61 after he was bowled by Tarafder.
Guyra senior cricket coordinator, Adrian Cameron, on debut in first grade, remained at the crease on one not out alongside Tyson Burey on four not out as their side posted 235 runs from their 45 overs.
In the run chase, it didn't take long for Servies to lose their first wicket when Dhruv Patel succumbed to Woods' bowling for a duck.
Servies lost a further two wickets without posting another run when Jake Ellis went on a roll, snaring Tarafder for five and then Benji Marshall for a duck.
Ellis then dismissed Bill Mohammed for 25 before Tyson Burey chimed in to claim Elliot's wicket for five.
Jackson made an appearance on the bowling sheet and took a wicket for good measure, that of key player Levy for four.
Finlay chimed in as well with Nathan Withnell's wicket for four while Servies' middle order batsman Jarrod Burton provided some resistance with a hard-fought 26 before Joey Ryan snagged his wicket lbw.
Matt Foote top-scored for his team with 28 before Ryan sent him back to the sheds while Jared Veall made 26 before being dismissed off Dowsett's bowling and Servies were all out for 165, giving Guyra the win.
Hogan was the final batsman remaining at the crease with 20 not out.
