Weekly wrap up:
A great crowd attended Bellevue to witness four tense, enjoyable games of football. The surface was a bit slippery from the overnight rain and early morning drizzle, but the softer surface was also a bonus. The cooler weather made playing conditions much more enjoyable then was expected. A great afternoon and evening at a great venue.
Demon Knights defeated North Armidale Redmen 2-1
A repeat of last week's result, with all goals scored in the first half. The injury to in the first half to Jason Boundy had a large impact on North Armidale. His experience and mid field control were missed. Luke Orr and Sam Constance scored for Demon Knights while Liam Edmunds scored for North Armidale Redmen.
South Armidale Yellow defeated South Armidale Green 3-1
This match lived up to expectations, the crowd was incredibly supportive and vocal throughout the match. Great to see and hear, great atmosphere, great crowd throughout the afternoon and evening.
South Armidale Yellow lead throughout the game. Which I think was extremely important as the South Armidale Green outfit play with a lot of emotion. South Armidale Yellow started off in fine form with a goal to Cody McCann to give the South Armidale Yellow their goal to nil half time lead. Cody McCann and Liam Georkas scored for South Armidale Yellow to give them an unassailable lead. South Green fought to the end and a goal to Nashwan Jaralah setting up for a tense final period.

Armidale City Westside defeated Demon Knights 4-2 with extra time
A real crowd pleaser, disappointing for Demon Knights and to lose with the last goal being a penalty. Both teams had several opportunities to score more goals but just could not finish off their many attacking raids.
A sea sawing game where Demon Knights lead by two goals to one at half time. Rhys Luders and G Donnan scoring for Demon Knights and Aiden Webster for Armidale City Westside. The pace and end to end play continued in the second half with F Khalaf scoring the only second half goal late for Armidale City Westside saw the match go to extra time. James Thompson scored for Demon Knights and Aaron O'Brien scored the Armidale City Westside goals to give them the berth to the grand final against South Armidale Yellow.
South Armidale Yellow defeated North Armidale Redmen 4-1
South Armidale Yellow are odd on favourites to progress to the grand final. Being undefeated throughout the season. Coupled with having a BYE last week and defeating the Redmen the week before. Goal scoring for both teams is even. A couple of messages come out of the statistics. The Redmen have not been able to score in their previous two games. The South Armidale Yellow outfit has only had five goals scored against them making the defensive cohesion for John Edmunds team a focus. Souths by two goals.
Guyra defeated East Armidale 4-1.
Goals to both team's top goal scorers, Norman Miniiti for Guyra and Jake Davies for the Suburbs along with a goal to Max Yautaka saw Guyra in the lead at half time. The second half belonged to the Guyra outfit with another tow goals scored by Norman and Max. A great team effort and a good game to watch, well done.
South Armidale Yellow defeated Armidale City Westside 9-1
South Armidale Yellows dominance over the season showed in their whitewash of the Armidale City Westside team. Half time saw the South Armidale Yellows up by six goals to one with goals to Jamie Wright, Drew Kingstone, Eamon Haynes and Kalab Mourhaus along with a double to Michael Lord. Cyril Green scored for the Blues. The second half evened out, a bit with Drew Kingstone scoring two to give him a hattrick in the semi-final, the other went to Mal Kal to see the South Armidale Yellow continue their absolute dominance of this division and set themselves up for a confident leadup to Saturdays Grand Final at Bellevue.
