Council has implemented a COVID Safety Plan for the reopening to comply with NSW Government guidelines. New measures include capacity limitations, providing EFTPOS facilities, and visitors are required to check in on arrival.
Uralla Shire Council Mayor, Cr Michael Pearce said these extra measures have been put in place to keep the community and staff safe.
"We're encouraging visitors to leave their cash at home and pay with their card instead," Mayor Pearce said.
"Pool goers will also need to sign in at the door before entry and of course maintain the 1.5m physical distancing guidelines."
Council is encouraging visitors to follow the 'Keep a beach towel between you' campaign from the NSW Government as a good way to check pool goers are keeping their distance.

"We know how much our community loves the pool during the warmer months, and we look forward to welcoming back visitors to the pool this weekend," Mayor Pearce said.
