Amelia Tunamena, Bella Reardon and former Blue, Lauren Clarke, posted quick five-pointers to go 10-nil up.
The Elkettes' ball movement was to a tee as they spread it along the backline for Lenikki Craigie to score and they led 22-nil at the break.
One minute into the second-half, skipper Sarah Byrne raced away for a converted try.
A yellow card to Blues' playmaker Amy Barraclough saw the Glen girls capitalise with Clarke in for her second.
The Armidale side hit back immediately after the kickoff through a runaway Taneika Landsborough but it was too late as the Glen side finished 34-7 winners.
The second game saw the Blues come out firing but it was the Elkettes who posted first points, with Craigie over under the posts in the opening minute.
The Blues hit back when Debbie Moran carted defenders over the tryline.
Two yellow cards were given to Glen players heading into half-time and they went into the break one try apiece.
In the second stanza, Sarah Woolfe skipped over the line and was involved in the next try when Clarke found the speedster to make a break out wide.
The Glen girls then spread the ball inside for Amy Byrne to link up with sister Sarah for the final try.

Blues co-coach Andrew Patfield was "proud" of their season as a whole but conceded the Glen side were just better on the day.
"It was a very disjointed season but to be able to come together and exceed expectations the way that they did speaks volumes about them as individuals and as a team," he said.
"It wasn't quite to be the fairy tale, underdog story but that is unfortunately the nature of the beast, there must be a winner and a loser.
"Unfortunately, we just didn't show up and it was hard to see because I know how good we can be.
"Glen Innes were clinical, they took us apart. I said that to Lauren [Clarke] and the Glen girls after their win, they were too good and thoroughly deserved it."
As for who he's backing in the grand final, it will be the team who knocked his side out of the race for the title.
"I will be an Elk on Saturday; I want a New England team winning the big dance and, across the park, I believe the Elks are too good," Patfield said.
This year's Blues squad is a relatively new one with many newcomers to rugby 7s.
Patfield is hoping to keep them together for next season.
"Onto bigger and better things, many of the girls have expressed their keenness to return next year so with a proper pre-season under our belts we will be back gunning for top spot," he said.
