Jonathon Frost, or 'Frosty' as he's better known, played his 150th game for the Nomads when they were beaten 26.15-171 to 8.4-52 by the reigning premiers in the round nine clash.
Frost joined the club in 2007 after moving to Armidale from Western Australia and has won four premierships with the Nomads.
He was due to play his 150th game the week prior at the home against Moree but, with the Suns forfeiting, he had to wait until they trekked to Gunnedah.
Current Nomads coach James Treweeke thanked Gunnedah for helping celebrate the milestone and praised Frost's "professionalism" on and off-the-field.

"He is a very, very good football player.
"He has played 150 games here and I would hate to know how many games he played back over in WA before he came here.
"He is probably up around 400 games.
"Anyone who plays that many games offers a lot of experience and brings a lot to the club as well."
Aside from his contribution to the Nomads, Treweeke said the whole AFL North West competition has respect for the long-term player.
"Everyone around the league, team and club respect him and know what he can do on the field," he said.
"Off the field, he is really great around the club too and is quite funny."
With only the top two teams playing a final - the big one - the Nomads will finish their season against Inverell this Saturday.
"From our point-of-view, it last game of the year and for the first time in a long time, we have got no pressure on us really," Treweeke said.
