The Tasmanian government's Make Yourself At Home travel vouchers have been snapped up by eager Tasmanians in less than an hour.
All $7.5 million worth of vouchers were gone within 40 minutes of the website opening for registrations.
Vouchers are valid for use on accommodation stays between Sunday and Thursday and at tourist attractions any day of the week.
Individuals were able to claim $100 towards accommodation and $50 towards an attraction and families were able to claim up to $550.
"Unfortunately it seems we were too popular!" the website said.
"The voucher program is currently fully registered and no further vouchers are available for registration at this time.
"Please keep an eye on the website here and our media announcements in case more vouchers become available."
