Motobikes have been the target of theives around Armidale in recent days.
A quad bike was stolen with the keys in the ignition from a local property, while an unregistered motorbike that was also stolen this week is yet to be located.
On Wednesday police recovered the quad bike east of the city on Waterfall Way, after it had been stolen from a property on Rowlands Road.
Meanwhile, in the same timeframe, a rural supplies business was broken into sometime on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
A small amount of property was taken from the Ampol St business.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for public assistance to locate a red Honda CR125 stolen from a Lucas Lane address earlier this week.
"Police are appealing for any information about all three matters," Inspector Matthew Hemsworth said.
"We'd like to urge the public to ensure they lock motorcycles up, lock sheds, and do not leave keys in the motorbikes, because people stealing them are starting them with keys left in them unfortunately."
