Their annual donations have once again been announced, and five places have been chosen as worthy recipients.
One of these was Friends of Nioka Tamworth who received $2000. Spokeswoman for the group Heather Frankel was thrilled by the announcement.
"Thank you to Forsyths, we are extremely grateful for their donation and ongoing community support," she enthused.
Another $5000 was given to Sober in the Country, $2,000 for Riding for the Disabled Association NSW New England Centre, $2,000 to Breakthru, $2,000 for The Country Education Foundation of Gunnedah, with $2,000 going to Inverell Rural Outreach and Support Services.
"The Forsyths staff were very touched by the amazing work that the Friends of Nioka do for palliative care in our region, and being able to assist patients, carers and their families through difficult times, is so incredibly rewarding," a statement from the staff read.
The Forsyths Foundation was formed in 2015 to enable staff to donate money from their salary to be provided annually to deserving charities in the regional area.
Staff from Armidale, Coonabarabran, Gunnedah, Inverell and Tamworth nominate a charity within their local communities to donate to.
The committee then has the last call on where the money goes, with another charity chosen as recipient for their annual firm donation.
