Police are reviewing CCTV footage and appealing for witnesses after thieves and vandals targeted businesses and bins on the weekend.
Two glass doors were shattered at a Dangar Street restaurant late on Saturday evening, which was one of two incidents on the same night where businesses were targeted.
The other incident also included glass doors being smashed at a Beardy Street premises.
Inspector Matthew Hemsworth said police believe the two incidents were related due to the time they were reported and the nature of the malicious damage.
"Police are following up on CCTV in the area and are appealing for anyone who may have some information to contact Armidale Police or Crime Stoppers," he said.
Meanwhile, between midnight and 2am on Sunday morning, garbage bins were the target of vandals along Beardy Street, which Inspector Hemsworth said police were investigating.
"A number of bins were pulled from their mounts and destroyed," he said.
On Saturday, local business Supermoto was broken into.
Between midday, and 11.30pm, a motorcycle was stolen from the Mann Street store.
"Police are reviewing CCTV," Inspector Hemsworth said.
"A crime scene examination has taken place and again we're appealing for anyone who may have information about the incident to contact Armidale Police or Crime Stoppers."
