That question prompted a lot of feedback late last week, as Armidale Regional Council launched an online survey to get the community's feedback.
We're not sure how many survey responses they council has, but had plenty of great suggestions on our Facebook page.
It is good to see the work of the council continuing, despite the big announcement last week. But more on that later, as there has been plenty of other news happening.
Including the recovery from the bushfire season, which continues.
The Northern Tablelands MP has said he expects the NSW bushfire inquiry will consider allowing cattle to graze in national parks, and some of the BackTrack boys have been helping out with the bushfire clean-up.
We are waiting to hear where the bushfire recovery funding will be allocated locally, which is due to be announced by the state government soon.
We are starting to see some aspects of life return to normal, such as kids returning to the classroom today, which we are such will be welcomed by many parents, even if they hold some concerns about it.
We also caught up with young hairdresser Mary Evans who is a finalist in the NSW Training Awards. Well done Mary!
Of course the big news last week was the decision by the Minister for Local Government to suspend Armidale's councillors for three months.
The move had bipartisan support in Macquarie Street, and the councillors will decide how they will respond to the suspension notice when they meeting this week.
When some souncillors spoke to The Express about the situation, they all seemed to agree that they had to find a way to work together. We couldn't agree more.
