Its different people and points of view is what gives it such a special flavour and strength of opportunity. The community is what makes it.
Now it seems we are being held back by a council and councillors who sadly seem unable to pre-empt problems, conciliate and compromise where necessary.

I've listened with sympathy to both groups but at the end of the day the community doesn't like the way things are happening - whatever side you fall on.
Predominantly, they are not reflecting us! If a government investigation is really the only way to deal with any serious underlying facts - let it happen. Voters won't forget.
Armidale should be recognised and promoted as an ideal city - and region - in which to live. As the 21st Century deals with unfolding history we should be facilitated in taking the high ground in what is to come, with the range of agricultural, educational, cultural, sporting and scenic advantages we possess.
So many businesses are quietly and successfully getting on with things but are not helped by the current public profile generated.
It's Armidale and its community that are the main game.
