Kiaja Paul Jerrard will remain behind bars until later this month on 13 arson, break-in and theft charges across Armidale and Guyra.
Detectives allege Jerrard targeted homes between January 31 and March 1. He's alleged to have stolen goods and cars and then set them on fire.
After investigations into the string of incidents, the 19-year-old was arrested by Armidale detectives at a Taylor Street home just after 2pm on Sunday, March 1.

After being questioned, Jerrard was charged with two counts of break-and-enter; six counts of take and drive conveyance without the consent of the owner; three counts of damaging property by fire; as well as aggravated enter dwelling in company with intent to steal; and larceny.
The teen fronted Armidale Local Court on Monday where he was refused bail by magistrate Michael Holmes.
Mr Holmes ordered Jerrard to remain behind bars until mid-March with the case to be referred to the DPP to prosecute in court.
