Held at the Imperial Hotel, it was a free event for farmers and their families to get away from the farm and socialise during this tough period of time.
The Blues' publicity officer Catherine Stephen said it was a resounding success and the downpours which hit town made it even better.
"We had around 130 for the long lunch with around 100 being farmers and their families," she said.
"It was a wonderful afternoon especially with the rain that day!
"It was great to see so many farmers having a day out and taking the time to have a chat and take time away from the farm."
The Blues rounded up some local talent to entertain on the day.

"We would like to give a huge shout out to bush poet Murray Hartin and musicians Jack Vivers and Max Laurie for giving up their time to entertain us," Stephen said.
"Their talents made for a wonderful contribution to our day.
"We were also fortunate to have amazing community support from a number of local businesses to help us stage the event."
