Kenneth James Campbell, Bruce Walker and Jordan Waters are charged with an alleged crime spree across Armidale earlier this month.
The trio's cases were mentioned in Armidale Local Court on Wednesday, the matters set to be referred to the DPP because the maximum penalty they face, if found guilty, is 20 years' imprisonment.
Campbell, 25, faces seven armed robbery charges. He is accused of robberies at the Wicklow and Whitebull hotels, the BP service station, and two women in separate incidents; an attempted hold-up at the Powerhouse Hotel; an aggravated break-in at the golf club; as well as stolen car offences.

He is also charged with an armed robbery that occurred last year on the South Coast.
Waters and Walker are charged in connection to the Powerhouse hold-up; as well as the aggravated break-and-enter on the golf club; the robberies of two separate women, including one in an Allingham Street home; and stealing and using a stolen car.
The trio were not required to enter pleas and magistrate Michael Holmes refused bail for all three.
Detectives have been ordered to compile the briefs of evidence into the cases, which will return to court in mid-March.
Campbell has been in custody since he was cornered by several police in a house in Marsh Street in Armidale on January 16, ending a week-long manhunt.
Strike Force Fryer has been investigating the string of robberies across Armidale and was set up by detectives who suspected the offences were linked.
Waters and Walker were captured in the wake of the attempted hold-up at the Powerhouse on January 9.
