White got his wish as all matches around the region were declared washed out, thanks to the much needed rainfall.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Armidale has received 108.2 millimetres at it's Tree Group Nursery site over the last week with Guyra also receiving 100ml.
It resulted in all Armidale District matches called off, as well as the scheduled senior representative Connolly Cup match between Armidale and Tamworth on Sunday.
Glen Innes copped downpours too and their Connolly Cup match against Walcha was cancelled as well.
The Inverell competition, where Glen Innes play their regular round matches, was called off for the weekend, as well as Walcha's senior competition.
In other Armidale District Cricket Association news, a Super 8s competition has been announced to raise funds for the Rural Fire Service.
It will be held on Saturday, February 8 at the Sportsground and The Armidale School.
Pool matches will be during the day and finals will be under lights at night.
Team cost is $160 and nominations are due by January 31.
