The welcome rain in the region has seen waterways receive a boost.
In social media posts, New England High Country, which is a tourism body for several towns in the area, videos show the water flowing through the area.
"Dangars Falls are thundering!!!! This footage was taken at 9am this morning," New England High Country wrote in its first post.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, almost 80mm of rain has fallen this month in Armidale, with the biggest fall coming on Thursday when almost an inch of rain was received.
The second wettest day has been last Friday, when 20mm of rain fell.
Mount Yarrowyck Nature Reserve, Mother of Ducks Nature Reserve and parts of Oxley Wild Rivers National Park will re-open this weekend.
