Police are appealing for public information following one armed robbery and another attempted robbery at Marsh Street businesses in recent days.

A service station was robbed on Saturday morning, then a man entered a hotel and allegedly threatened staff on Monday evening.
The man fled when one employee used a bar stool to defend himself.
In Saturday's robbery, a man armed with two large knives entered a service station about 4am.
Two staff members observed the offender approaching the console area.

They immediately moved to a nearby office where their manager was located, and barricaded themselves in.
The man unsuccessfully attempted to force entry into the office.
He then stole the locked till and fled the scene.
Police said he was last seen heading north towards the carpark adjacent to the service station.
Witnesses say he wore a hooded jumper, bandanna, and gloves.
