After winning the toss, Armidale sent Tamworth in to bat first and set to work early when Myles Harris dismissed their opening two batters, Dom Barbara and Archie McMaster, cheaply.
From there, it didn't get any easier for Tamworth as Armidale continued their rout.
Will Hall snagged a wicket followed by Tynan Bull claiming another two.
Then Armidale ran out two more batters to have Tamworth in trouble at 6-19.

Two tail-end batters for Tamworth managed to get into double figures but their stands came to an end when Sophie Parsons claimed Fletcher Panton's wicket for 13 runs and then Archer Starr snagged the two wickets of Harry Hamilton and Tom Holmes to finish off their opponents for 78.
With the bat, Jacob Miller and Sophie got things going before Sophie departed on five runs.
Jacob kept going and notched up 24 runs as Armidale chased down the required runs in 24.4 overs and with four wickets to spare.
Armidale also entered two teams in the Northern Inland under-14 competition as well as one in the under-16 tournament.
