She is a two time national champion in cricket, has had numerous sporting award wins, captained representative teams in a variety of sports as well as representing the North West region in four different sports just to name a few.
Her list of achievements doesn't stop there, in fact, there's more than print space allows.
Her most recent national title at the School Sport Australia 12-and-under girls' cricket championships in Adelaide in November came in emphatic style.
Playing in the NSW PSSA team, Sophie left her best performance with the bat until last to help her state claim back-to-back national titles. In the final against Victoria, NSW restricted their opponents to 6-173 from their 35 overs.
With 174 to win, Sophie and fellow opening batter, Holly Toms, set to work and chased down the required runs without losing a wicket in the longest batting partnership their NSW coach could remember.
Sophie finished eighth on the run-scorers' list for the whole carnival and snared a few wickets with the ball in-hand, 2-1 against Western Australia her best performance.
Of the carnival, Sophie said the highlight was the final in which she helped NSW to an undefeated carnival win, and won the match ball as a result of her efforts.
"Probably in the final, getting my 50 and with the other batter, chasing down all the runs without losing a wicket, it was good," she said.
"She got 91, so she did well, and I was quite glad I got my 58 not out and we won."
While cricket might be her number one sport, it is not the only one the Ben Venue student excels at.
This year she has also represented North West at hockey, softball and soccer.
She captained the North West soccer side and won the most valuable player medal for her team.
Sophie's achievements across all sports this year were recognised at last week's North West School Sport Association awards ceremony in Tamworth.
She was presented with the Armidale Zone sportsperson of the year, a Bar to Blue award, as well as the prestigious North West Primary Athlete of the year for the second year in-a-row.
Sophie's mum Nikki said "she is pretty dedicated" and "a lot of thanks has to go to Ben Venue for the opportunities they have given them."
Her year isn't done yet with a Country Championships campaign at the end of this week for the Central North under-13 girls' cricket side.
