"We believe there is no 'one size fits all' model of a well-lived life," school principal Mary Anne Evans said.
"We offer students the tools and pathways to individual success so their aspirations turn into outcomes.
"NEGS students are accomplished, assertive, kind, happy, vibrant young adults ready to embrace the wider world and all it offers.
"Academically, NEGS is highly regarded for its small class sizes and bespoke learning experience. The classes are structured so each student's learning style is catered for and each student is supported in their learning.
"The NEGS Junior School has a family atmosphere where parental involvement is encouraged."
The school caters for boys and girls from transition to year 6.
"Students in the NEGS senior school are a diverse mix of local day girls and boarders, who are a broad cross-section of students hailing from a variety of backgrounds, from the red-dirt country of the Northern Territory to the bustling streets of Sydney," Ms Evans said.
"We know that with the right balance, sports and studies can be a winning combination and that this is important to parents. Many of our recent graduates received top marks while competing at state and national levels in sport."
Hockey NSW, Netball NSW and NSW Rugby deliver exclusive Player Pathway programs incorporating high performance coaching with Australian Hockeyroos, Diamonds and Pearls players.
The focus, however, is strongly on inclusivity, fostering sporting confidence in all girls, no matter their level.
"NEGS has invested in an international strength and conditioning coach to work with the girls to increase their core strength and to deal with sport injury," Ms Evans said.
"As one of the most highly regarded equestrian schools in Australia, the NEGS equestrian program equips the girls to excel in all areas of the equestrian industry.
"Broadening horizons is a key component of the girls' equestrian education and the school's annual international study tours and competition opportunities to America, New Zealand and Malaysia are a unique offering that sets NEGS apart from other equestrian centres."
The NEGS Music Department is committed to helping students develop a love of music over a lifetime.
"We offer a mix of core instrumental and vocal ensembles, as well as ensembles tailored to meet the needs of our students," Ms Evans said.
"Peripatetic music teachers come each day to NEGS offering a rich array of instrumental lessons.
"Sustainable agriculture is a significant part of the NEGS student experience from transition right through to year 12.
"This is demonstrated not only by our use of kitchen waste to feed our pigs and poultry, but also with the use of manure from our agriculture department to fertilise the school campus, and our school community sharing the produce from our crops .
"The livestock team provides students with the opportunity to work with livestock ... first hand experience with sustainable agriculture is the basis for the development of knowledge of agricultural science."
