The Mall will be transformed by entertainers and festive fun from 5pm and market stalls from 4pm, when council will partner with Armidale AM Rotary Club to hold the event.
Two of Santa's reindeer, Rudolph and Dasher, will be special guests, and this year the festivities will expand along Beady Street and into Dangar Street as the celebration continues to grow in popularity.

Armidale Regional Council Mayor Simon Murray said was pleased to see the crowd swell.

Council and the Rotary Club of Guyra have teamed up for the Guyra Christmas party due to commence at 5.30pm in Bradley Street on Friday, December 6. It will include the lighting of the town Christmas tree, market stalls, a visit by Santa and a school parade.
