The leadership is predominantly female this year: six young women, four young men.
Ellen Hawthorne and Liam Smith are college captains, Sam Bible and Emily Meehan vice-captains, Tori Brazier and Nathan Czinner sports captains, Madeleine Holmes and Georgia MacMahon arts captains, and Ruth Toakley and Kieran Wicks faith and service captains.
"They are a fantastic group of students brimming with ideas to move our community forward," principal Regina Menz said.

"It's a big honour," Ellen said. "We have some big shoes to fill - but we're very excited for the year ahead, and hope it's a good one."
Liam said he felt very privileged to be the school captain of O'Connor.
"We'll be helping out around the school, creating new events to help with school culture, and bring everyone together," he said.
On the agenda are community service, enhancing learning, and being a part of the local community.
Both staff and Year 10 and 11 students elected the school leaders.
