Hosted by NSW Business Chamber, the awards recognise excellence in business, leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability, innovation, business growth and employment practices.
"Given the month of October celebrates Small Business, it's fitting that at today's breakfast event with guest speaker, Dylan Alcott, we celebrate the supportive, inclusive, dynamic and social dance community created at Tamworth City Dance Academy which includes 450 students from over 350 families in Tamworth and Quirindi," Regional Manager NSW Business Chamber, Joe Townsend, said.
"Across the region we have some outstanding businesses, with winners covering Armidale, Gunnedah, Inverell, Liverpool Plains, Tamworth, and Uralla. Special mention should be made for Inverell Chamber of Commerce & Industry which won Local Chamber of Commerce after achieving significant membership growth. Previously this had been held by State Winning, Gunnedah and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the past three years.
"This year's winners should feel incredibly proud to be named as the region's leading businesses for 2019. We wish them every success as they continue to represent the New England North West at the NSW Business Chamber State Business Awards."
Those awards will be presented on November 22.
"Hopefully the regions winning streak continues," Mr Townsend said.
