But the country music trio, renowned for the energetic stage performances, have a couple of good reasons to strip it back on the current tour, One Acoustic Night, which is coming to Armidale on November 2.
"There's a lot of people at our gigs that say 'we just want to hear your harmonies', and the best way of doing that is stripping it completely back," Mollie McClymont, the youngest of the siblings told The Armidale Express.
"I think there's something really special about it and it's a different show to always up, and wild and crazy. I feel you can get a bit more intimate on these gigs, which is really nice."
Also, eldest sister Brooke is due to give birth to her second child early next year, so Mollie said the acoustic performance would be more comfortable for her.

"Our songs are not easy to sing. There's a lot of energy, so this is going to be a perfect tour for her because she can sit, chill, we can talk about our songs and it's not so go-go-go."
It's been 12 years since the sisters released the first of their five albums - Chaos and Bright Lights - and in the years since then they have had album sales in excess of 250,000, released 22 singles and won 13 Golden Guitars.
Mollie said the number of songs they have recorded meant they now have some hard choices when deciding which ones to include for the acoustic show.
"We all know the fan favourites, because they get requested a lot, and a lot of people have the same favourites, so we always put them in. We have to do Kick It Up, we always do Forever Begins Tonight, Wrapped Up Good; they're like standards in every set.
"But then we talk to each other, and say 'what do you want to do on this tour', and we mix it up."
There is an Armidale connection with one of their most loved songs, as the video clip for Forever Begins Tonight was shot here.
"I always love playing Forever Begins Tonight, because we sang that at Sam's wedding, so it brings back a lot of memories, and all of the audience love that song for some reason."
Their manager, Dan Biddle, organised the video shoot for Armidale, with much of it shot at Saumarez Homestead, while there were also scenes filmed in the mall.
"It's honestly my favourite video that we've done, I think it's super pretty.
"It was kinda nice to get somewhere rural and do it in a place (familiar). We used to travel through Armidale a lot to get to Tamworth, and we always stopped in Armidale. And all our friends went to uni in Armidale," Mollie said.

The girls grew up in Grafton, which is where they will start the current tour, two nights before the Armidale gig, but these days their family lives see them spread around the eastern seaboard.
"We do not live anywhere near each other anymore," Mollie said.
"Sam's moved up to Brisbane, because her husband's in the air force, so they constantly move around."
Meanwhile, Brooke and her husband - fellow singer Adam Eckersley - have just bought a 100-acre property on the Central Coast and Mollie is further south again, at Wollongong.
Which just makes the concerts, where they're back together again, even more special.
