NSW youth drought summit at Lake Macquarie has been eye-opening

Armidale student Piyumi Ekanayale is attending the youth drought summit at Lake Macquarie this week.

Drought talks taking place near Newcastle have been "an eye-opening experience" and "a great opportunity" to create change, according to attendees from the region.
