Unfavourable weather conditions delayed a NSW Government-funded upgrade of a 1.8km section of the highway, either side of the new roundabout which opened to traffic earlier this year.
Work will resume from Monday October 14, and will be carried out between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
It is expected to take two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane, alternate flow within the work zone during work hours. Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
To minimise disruption to traffic, work zones will be established on one side of the roundabout at any one time.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanked motorists for their patience during this time.
