Officially the world's longest running dining experience, this Australian original has made its international mark and sold out at shows all over the world - including Sydney Opera House and London's West End.
Nearly a million people around the world have seen the production and it's now returning to Langford in Walcha on Saturday October 19 with a new touring cast including British actor Rob Langston ( as Basil), Monique Lewis-Reynolds (as Sybil), and Nicholas Richard (as Manuel).
This team has been touring around Australia together for the last few months. Rob Langston has performed the show all over including London's West End.
"The Walcha Mountain Festival will feature so much to see and do," said said Tourism Manager, Susie Crawford..
"There is something on offer for everyone and free entry."
The quilt exhibition will open on Friday night in the Langford Woolshed and remains open both Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 4pm, with donation proceeds going to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Saturday centres around McHattan Park with the PKF Road Ride Challenges, Walcha Farmers' Market, a Trash n Treasure market and the Walcha Billy Cart Derby, followed by live music at the Royal Café.
"On Saturday night the hilarious Faulty Towers Dining Experience comes to historic Langford House," said Ms Crawford.
"Doors and bar open at 6.30pm then Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve up a three course dinner and plenty of laughs."
On Sunday, October 20 at Langford House Ms Crawford says there is a great range of market stalls booked, delicious food and Devonshire Tea will be served in the Langford Conservatory.
Display exhibits include Defence Model ships, classic cars and motorcycles. There will be guided tours of the historic Langford homestead, roving magic, and the amazing innovative garments with the Fleece to Fashion Awards parades.
"Meet up with friends, bring along the family and enjoy free entry and free activities for children," said Ms Crawford."We are very excited to have SNEZ, as our live music act this year. With a pop, folk genre, her music has been described as beautiful, artistic and soulful"
Free children's activities include a magic show, rock climbing wall, jumping castle, face painting and bush croquet.
