And they will continue to offer help for the next week
General manager Paul Hutchings said the aid is "emergency feed" for farmers directly hit by the recent bush fires to keep them going as drought continues.
"The prevailing drought conditions meant that the feed supply situation for farmers has already been very challenging, but for those now burnt out, the emergency feed is available to provide a little bit of space before farmers need to make even more difficult farm management decisions," he said.
He hopes the grace period the emergency fodder will offer will give farmers the time to make alternative arrangement to feed stock.
Local Land Services have been operating the emergency fodder collection points for bush fire affected landholders at the Ebor Sportsground and Tenterfield Showground for the past week and will continue to do so next week.
Farmers seeking to access emergency fodder should contact the Agriculture and Animal Services Hotline on 1800 814 647
Producers are also encouraged to call the hotline to report damage and stock losses.
Available help includes emergency fodder, emergency stock water, veterinary assistance, stock destruction and burial, livestock feeding and management advice.
