As fires continued to burn across the Northern Tablelands, which saw some homes lost at Tenterfield and fire fighters contuing to fight a large blaze in Guy Fawkes National Park,
At least four fire crews were called to the fire along creekland near The Armidale School.
Fire fighters, faced with a westerly wind, worked to stop the blaze spreading to homes on the opposite side of the street.
Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, an emergency warning remained in place for the bushfire that was burning approximately 30km north of the Ebor area.
On Friday, strong winds had pushed the fire in a south easterly direction towards Guy Fawkes River.
