Sydney Sixers' stars Peter Nevill and Maddy Darke are set to tour the North West to host a series of cricket clinics as part of Cricket NSW's Country Blitz program.
On September 4, the tour will begin at Inverell Public School before heading to the Glen Innes Public School and Armidale's Sandon Public School.
Nevill and Darke will also help launch the Armidale junior cricket season from 6pm.
The tour will then wrap up with visits to Tamworth West and Tamworth South Public Schools on September 5.
The school visits will allow students the chance to hear from some of the best cricketers the Sydney Sixers have to offer.
Cricket NSW's general manager of community cricket Ivan Spyrdz said the annual event was a chance for players to connect with regional communities.
"Many of our regional cricket communities have been doing it tough over the last few years and we hope that having some of our players travelling to their regions provides them with a boost in spirits," Spyrdz said.
"For many regions, this annual event signifies the cricket season is open and ready to go for the year ahead."
