In their last outing against the Tamworth Swans in round 12, a lacklustre start by the Nomads saw them play catch up but ultimately fell short.
Player-coach James Treweeke said this Saturday's round 14 fixture is an important one to secure a home semi-final and build momentum.
"I am not sure what their numbers are like, I rang them today and they said they have 14 or 16," he said.
"They are travelling across but we might have to lend a few players and make a game out of it.
"That could be good for us in that some boys might miss out if we didn't so everyone gets a run around before finals.
"I would prefer to have some sort of game than nothing.
"I keep saying it is only three or four weeks and the season is over so we have just got to push through and hopefully we can get a good team on the park, next week especially. If we get the win on the weekend it should guarantee a home final."
