The teenager was selected for the NSW All Schools U16 Blue team following a four-day development camp at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation, Narrabeen, last week
The camp brought together some of the most promising young hockey players for intensive training, culminating in selection of two NSW teams to compete at the National All Schools championships in Newcastle in August.

"It was really full on - we spent five hours on the pitch each day and went through a lot of stuff such as ball skills, speed and agility, recovery strategies and nutrition," Rohan said.
"It was such a great experience to be immersed in hockey at such a level, and it was also good to see the boys who I have played with previously and will be teaming up with again."
Rohan is also in the current Hockey NSW Athlete Acceleration Program (AAP) Boys Squad.

Before taking to the field for the 16s, Rohan will this Friday play for the Opens NSW CIS team a tri-series competition at Sydney Olympic Park against Combined Catholic Colleges and Combined High Schools, from which a non-playing Opens All Schools team will be named.
"I'm really looking forward to that, it's going to be a great experience," he said.
