Having just hosted more than 1000 guests for the college's 50th anniversary celebrations in March, last weekend was now the students' parents turn to mingle in the wonderfully upgraded dining hall and grounds.

Much like previous Parents Balls, the 2019 instalment was one underpinned by charitable spirit as the students and clubs of St Albert's College rallied to fundraise for the College's charity partner, Where there's a Will.

The Friday evening curtain raiser for the busy weekend saw parents and students gather at the College to admire the students' talents with camera, brush and pencil at the St Albert's College Art Show.

Those in attendance were also treated to accompanying student musical performances.

Come Saturday morning, a stunning autumn day greeted 18 teams from across the Albies rugby, hockey and netball clubs as rainbow socks were donned in tribute to Where there's a Will.

Despite a mixed bag of results, the Albies spirit was on full display for parents and opposition alike.

Students then swapped boots and joggers for dress shoes and heels as they eagerly joined their parents for a night of mingling, fine catering and dancing.

Throughout the night the centrepiece of the dining hall arrangement was an array of charity auction items which following the speeches were auctioned off by auctioneer and Albies Alumnus Jack Biddle, with all proceeds going to Where there's a Will.

Jack's spirited auctioneer's performance not only enthralled the 700 plus in attendance but raised more than $10,000.
