The forum will provide further insight into key council projects and strategic documents currently on public exhibition.
At its extraordinary meeting on May 15, council resolved to display its draft Operational Plan and Resourcing Strategy 2019/2020, incorporating its Operating Budget and Fees & Charges, to the public from Friday, May 17 to Monday, June 17.
Armidale Regional Council CEO Susan Law said while the meeting was open to community group representatives, it was also open to individuals who would like to find out more about council's activities.
"We would love people to register and just to attend. We would encourage people who live in Armidale, Guyra or places from out of town like Ebor or Wollomombi to register their interest, we would love to see them," she said.

"We'll achieve a small surplus this financial year, and these documents outline what we are aiming to undertake next financial year.
"It would be interesting to get feedback on how council intends to spend its money."
Armidale Regional Council Mayor Simon Murray said the forum would shed light on how objectives were determined and give the community a chance to comment.
"Black Mountain was chosen to host the forum, away from the main population centres, to further emphasise the Council is focused on the prosperity and wellbeing of our region as a whole," he said.
"That region-wide focus is reflected in our schedule of activities for 2019/2020.
