Last weekend his funeral service was held on Saturday, when friends celebrated his life, and gathered for lunch at Guyra Community Hall.
Frank, met and married Mavis Jean Saunders, they eventually settled making a living from peas and potato crops.
Eventually they bought "Frama" up on Ben Lomond Mountain a place, they owned. Farming sheep and wool but providing for an extended family a home for celebrations and fire pits and fun.
Frank volunteered at community events for more than 45 years and he was awarded an Order of Australia for services to the rural community as well as running his border Leicester stud.
"Frank told us not to feel sorry for a sheep with one eye, as they can see the other sheep's two eyes, it's the other sheep that can only see the sheep with one eye," said Gina Lockyer, Frank's granddaughter, while delivering the eulogy.
Frank's extended family began the service with the Patsy Cline song Life's a Railway to Heaven.

"We all loved mustering the stock with Frank on the motorbikes. I remember when he was on his motorbike he use to be Chase and I was Chip from the American TV police comedy show" Gina Lockyer said.
