After succumbing to Warialda and Tingha, Uralla rebounded by thumping their Tiger counterparts 50-8.
President Josh Clark was happy with his team's execution.
"We just kept to our simple structure and tired them out," he said.
"We didn't even need to spread it wide, we were just doing everything right.
"Completed our sets well, we didn't really give them a chance to attack.
"Even though we were winning we didn't push anything, we just stuck to our structure and that is what I was most happy about, that we didn't go away from that."
After leading 34-4 at half-time Clark rested a handful of players in the second stanza to minimise the risk of injury.
"We went better in the first-half against them, I gave everyone a bit of a rest though," he said.
"Paul Jackson and Jack Doran, they didn't play much in the second-half.
"I used the fellas that don't get a run much."
While he was pleased with the effort as a whole, Clark highlighted the performances of a handful of players.
"Vinnie Moran played five-eighth on the weekend and did a pretty good job," he said.
"Kieran Stiff was probably the standout on the field.
"He got the points, three points from the ref, from us and coaches award.
"Jaread Jessup had a great game too in the front row."
In the league tag match, the Uralla girls continued their unbeaten run with a 32-12 triumph over the young Tenterfield outfit.
Uralla were missing seven but Clark said the rest of the squad stood up.
"Our girls went really good without all their players," he said.
"Tara Poss got the points for them, she was the standout for them.
"Lauren [Acton] scored a million tries and everyone else played pretty good.
"Alyce [Walsh] was pretty happy with it considering they had so many out."
This Saturday will prove a tougher challenge for the Tigers men when they head to Bundarra to face a physical Bears team.
Clark is predicting a close encounter.
"They play pretty similar to us I feel so it will be a good test for both teams I think," he said.
"We can match them with physicality and, I know I say it all the time, I hope we can get ball to our backs a bit more and use them.
"Bundarra have got a really good, solid pack, good halves but their backs aren't as good as ours.
"If they are on their game, they will score points if we can get them some ball."
