The Tingha Plateau Disaster Recovery Concert and Thank You Ceremony will be held on May 4, International Firefighter's Day. This is a community afternoon to thank the services and enjoy some fine music. Many emergency services are involved. Performers include a 12-piece string ensemble from the New England Conservatorium of Music, the Inverell Singers Choir and a brass band from the Danthonia Community. It will be held at the Tingha Town Hall in Ruby Street from 1.30pm to 4pm.

NSW JUSTICES OF THE PEACE NORTHERN TABLELANDS SUPPORT GROUP

ADFAS ARMIDALE LECTURE
ADFAS Armidale lecture will be at 6pm, Michael Hoskins Centre, TAS. Lecturer: Bernard Allan on "From Paris to New York: the Story of American Impressionism". Bernard Allan taught art history for many years and is now an independent art history tutor. Guests are most welcome at ADFAS lectures. ARMIDALE FAMILY HISTORY GROUP
Subject for the Armidale Family History Group meeting will be World War I fashion and social change, with Bronwyn Clarke as the speaker. Doors open 1.30pm, come in and browse our library. Please note our opening times for Mondays has changed. We are open Monday 1pm-4pm Wed 10am to 4pm except public holidays. Interested in family history, need a brickwall broken just want a chat come and speak to volunteers.
