The Guyra Cup is one of the highlights on the local racing calendar.
The Cup is held annually at the Armidale Racecourse and will feature fashions in the field, a full bar and catering.
Black Mountain trainer Paul Grills has put forward star of his stable, Melted Moments, while last year's winning trainer Stirling Osland has nominated three horses.
Along with Grills' entry, there are a host of other local horses lining up in the 1400 metre race.
Frank Tanner has put forward Armidale Cup runner-up Cuthbert Gold while Walcha's George Woodward has entered Red Viking.
Paddy Cunnigham, who picked up the 2017 Guyra Cup with Carry On Jake, has nominated Love Time for the race.
