The round two grand final rematch against Robb was the Blues' hit out for the season and co-coach Luke Stephen said there was one area where his side fell short. 

"We were happy with the majority of our game on Saturday night but unfortunately the inability to execute in parts in the second-half just meant we put ourselves under too much pressure and a quality side like Robb took the opportunity to bury us," he said. 

This Saturday will mark the Blues' first home round for the season. 

They will face Tamworth who haven't missed a beat in their opening two matches. 

Stephen said they are just hoping to build on their recent outing.

"It is always every goal as a team to play better than you did the previous week," he said. 

"We know that we have to execute better if we want to be on the right side of the ledger at full-time."

Stephen said the match up with a side who are aiming for three wins on the trot will give them a good gauge on where they sit in terms of the competition. 

"Having not seen them play we can't make a judgement," he said. 

"We are expecting a tight tussle and hopefully a better result than last week."

The Blues have no injuries woes heading into the match. 

"We have been able to name a relatively stable line up which helps," Stephen said. 

"The guys have come through relatively unscathed which helps with getting consistency across the playing group."
