Jonathon Gregory Walker will spend 18 months behind bars for supplying 3.5g of MDMA rock in December in Armidale.
The 35-year-old pleaded guilty in Armidale Local Court to supplying a prohibited drug, after his arrest by police from Strike Force Janian.
Magistrate Michael Holmes sentenced Walker to 18 months behind bars with a minimum of nine months in custody.
He will be eligible for parole in December.

Rhett Wylie, arrested during co-ordinated raids in December by the same strike force, also pleaded guilty to supplying drugs.
The 52-year-old was placed on a community corrections order, or good behaviour bond, for 18 months and is prohibited from taking drugs as well as other conditions.
Strike Force Janian was one of the largest police operations by New England officers and spanned 16 months.
In a series of raids in December in the Armidale area, ecstasy pills, MDMA, cocaine and cash was seized.
Several accused remain before the court on charges of supplying drugs and dealing with the proceeds of crime, as well as one of aggravated sexual assault.
