They said every resource was being thrown at the crime spree on Sunday morning, which involved two break-ins, three stolen cars, the supermarket ram raid, a failure to pay for fuel and a police chase in Armidale, Guyra and Black Mountain.
"This is an incredibly brazen crime, and a crime the community or police won't stand for," New England Detective Sergeant Matt Crotty said.
"Someone in the community knows who is behind this, and we won't stop until those offenders are apprehended and put before the courts."
On Monday, detectives spent a second day in Guyra speaking to witnesses who saw the stolen Mazda plough through the Bradley Street shopfront about 7.15am on Sunday.
The incident was captured on CCTV and detectives believe the offenders fled empty-handed.
A second stolen car was dumped and set alight in Guyra; a third car, a stolen Audi SUV, was driven back to Armidale before leading officers on a chase.
Investigators say the offenders ran from that car, jumping fences through several backyards in Armidale, in the Markham Street and Railway Parade area. Anyone who saw the men is urged to contact detectives.
"The community can be assured we're giving this crime the highest priority and we will continue to work around the clock until those responsible are before the courts," Detective Crotty said.
"We would urge anyone in the community who knows who these offenders are to come and speak with us.
It's only a matter of time until we find them, and we want to ensure we do before anyone else falls victim to these sorts of crimes.

"It's only a matter of time until we find them, and we want to ensure we do before anyone else falls victim to these sorts of crimes."
Detectives said it was too early to say if there were links to other ram raids, but they were investigating all avenues.
Earlier this month, a Walcha service station was rammed by offenders in a stolen car.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Armidale detectives on 6771 0699.
